Little Miss & Mister Universe
21st Season of the International Festival of Culture, Style & Arts for Children and Youth
China, Hainan Island, Sanya | May 25–30, 2026
Dear participants, national directors, and parents,
Welcome to the International Festival of Culture, Style & Arts for Children and Youth — “Little Miss & Mister Universe”!
This event is not just a festival — it is a meeting of talents, cultures, and hearts; a place where dreams take shape, and every child feels part of a great and kind Universe.
Little Miss & Mister Universe is a festival for children and teenagers.
Therefore, the decisive factors for winning and earning the main title are not only physical beauty, but also inner qualities, individual talent, culture, behavior, self-development, engagement, and a responsible attitude toward all festival tasks.
- Physical parameters (height, weight, age, social status) are not key criteria for evaluation.
- All participants represent the cultural heritage of their countries.
- All delegates must strictly follow the official festival schedule.
- Participants must arrive on time for rehearsals, parties, and all scheduled activities.
- Participants with reduced discipline scores cannot qualify for victory.
- Participation in the Talent Show is mandatory.
- Bright makeup, high heels, and platforms are prohibited for girls aged 5–12.
- Participants under 15 years old are not allowed to attend the festival without a parent or notarized guardian. The accompanying person bears full responsibility for themselves and the participant.
- Jury members are not allowed to vote for participants from their own country, agency, or studio.
- The decision of the jury is final and not subject to appeal. Participants and guests are not allowed to ask the judges’ opinions before results are announced, and jury members may not discuss contestants with guests.

and each male participant — a classic black tuxedo,
for the Runway Show and the Award Ceremony.
The mission of this colorful and beloved event is to showcase warm hospitality and represent the unique culture of each participating country.
Delegates visiting one host nation have the opportunity to experience the heritage and traditions of many others — creating unforgettable impressions that last a lifetime.
Requirements:
Each country will be assigned a table and chairs, arranged in alphabetical order.
Delegates must decorate their space with items representing their country’s ethnographic, cultural, or historical heritage.
Decoration may include:
flags, carpets, pillows, tablecloths, scarves, jewelry, handmade crafts, tableware, accessories, national souvenirs, sweets, drinks, etc.
Not only participants, but also parents, guests, and national directors are encouraged to wear national costumes and join the presentation.
Participants should briefly explain the meaning of their displayed items — telling folk tales, legends, traditions, or describing the history and symbolism of national costumes.
Each delegation may also present an optional performance — such as a dance or a song.
During the exhibition, the jury and delegates walk through all stands, enjoy the presentations, and immerse themselves in the unique atmosphere of each nation’s culture.
One of the key evaluation aspects is personal discipline and conduct.
This includes punctuality, engagement in all festival activities, creativity, teamwork, tolerance, kindness, and respectful behavior toward others.
