- Obtaining visas for staff members and their families, and arranging accommodation in host countries.
- Liaising with the inland revenue department on behalf of expats to ensure adherence to tax regulations.
- Establishing, managing, and maintaining vendor relationships in host countries.
- Orientating expats on relocating to a new country, the countries customs, opening a bank account, and other onboarding processes.
- Planning for the arrival of expats and informing the staff in the host country of their arrival.
- Providing support to expats when and as required.
- Ensuring that the expat program is aligned with government policies and procedures.
Expatriate Administrator Requirements:
- An undergraduate degree in human resources, finance, business administration, or a related field.
- A thorough knowledge of corporate and government policies and procedures relating to expats.
- Excellent knowledge of the laws, customs, and practices of host countries.
- Experience in immigration and international diplomacy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency in one or more of the languages spoken in host countries is an advantage.
- Outstanding problem-solving and organizational skills.
